|1.The Introduction of UV Tube
UV is the abbreviation of Ultraviolet, Which is an ultraviolet light, so the ultraviolet tube called UV tube. It is a kind of electromagnetic radiation besides violet. It has wide usage and can be divided to bellows by difference in peak and feature of wavelength.
2.The type of UV tube
UV-A( long wave tube)
UV-A, the wavelength is 320 ~ 400nm, also known as long-wave ultraviolet light. It has a strong penetration, it can penetrate most transparent glass and plastic. UVA can direct skin’s dermal layer, destruction of elastic fibers and collagen fibers, our skin tanning.
UV-B (middle wave tube)
UV-B the wavelength is 275 ~ 320nm, also called medium wave ultraviolet erythematic effect. UV-C (short wave tube)
UV-C the wavelength is 200 ~ 275nm, also called short-wave ultraviolet sterilization. It has the weakest ability of penetrate, most impenetrable transparent glass and plastic. Shortwave ultraviolet radiation on the human body great harm, short irradiation can burn the skin, long-term or high-intensity irradiation can also cause skin cancer.
UV-D, the wavelength is 100~200nm, also call as vacuum ultraviolet rays.
3.Sterilization principle of UV
Ultraviolet sterilization is through ultraviolet radiation, damage and change the microbial DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) or RNA (ribonucleic acid) of molecular structure, so that the bacteria can not reproduce or killed immediately, to achieve sterilization purposes.
4.The Usage of UV tube

UV-B is used to made Health UV lights, plants grow lights and hospital.
UV-C is used to disinfect water or liquids.
UV-D is used in the semiconductor industry Degradation of TOC, is not used for disinfection.
